Is Football Here Yet?

…Boring!…. The dog days of um… Summer… are upon us. While the NBA playoffs are coming to a close, and baseball plods along, many a sports bettor just can’t wait for the NFL season to begin.
Don’t worry, preseason action begins in August, and then the regular season commences in the first week of September. On Thursday, September 10, the Tennessee Titans will brawl with the Pittsburgh Steelers as the opener for the season. The game kicks off at 8:30 PM on NBC - so set your TIVOs now while still have a chance. Also, don’t forget to buy your nachos, salsa, and potato chips for the party we know you’re throw to start the NFL season.
After the opener, regular action commences on Sunday, September 13, with a full slate of games on the ticket. Most likely, some sportsbooks will begin offering odds on these games as early as July, but more likely, look for odds and props to be posted late August and definitely as September begins.
Which sportsbooks are the best? That’s always a matter of taste. Some gamblers prefer a sexy sportsbook with plenty of eye candy, plus other amenities such as poker and casino games. Others opt for a hardcore book that gets right to business, giving you the best odds and betting options. In the industry, many experts consider this the difference between the recreational “square” player and wise guys.
The economic down turn shouldn’t diminish interest in the NFL betting scene, but it will probably mean your bankroll will be much smaller this year. Most likely, your wife has you on a short leash already, and you’re relegated to your arm chair to watch the Red Sox beat the Yankees instead of actually going to Friendly Fenway with your friends.
So, keeping all that BS in mind, check out our Sportsbooks: Bookmaker.com, Diamond Sportsbook International, and JustBet.com. All are highly regarded and ACCEPT USA PLAYERS. Each operation has a strong industry reputation and offers great odds, props, parlays, and coverage on sports throughout the fall season.
Yawn… is it time for Sports Center yet? Don’t worry, the pigskin will be here soon enough.
