Georgia State -1 over William and Mary (7:00 PM EST)
Not much going on this holiday Monday so we’ll head to the Colonial Conference for a little Georgia State at William and Mary action. State (14-14) played a pretty tough non-conference schedule that included the likes of Duke, BYU, La Tech and Southern Miss and that has set them up well for CAA play. The Panthers are 8-3 in their last 11 and that includes a 74-68 (-5) home win over the team they face here. Georgia State has done some of their best work on the road and own wins at Colonial leading Northeastern and George Mason in their last. Bill and Mary have righted the ship somewhat after starting 1-6in conference but the truth of the matter is that they are just not very good. Sure the Tribe are 4-3 in their last seven but none of those wins have come across a team in the upper half of the table and weren’t very competitive in the first go=round with GSU getting outscored 46-25 in the second half. BOTN doesn’t think it’s a lot t ask the Panthers to win straight up here.
