The Saints have seemingly gotten their act together winning four of their last five and are still alive and well in the race to get that final wildcard spot in the NFC playoffs. In poker, they say all you need is a a chip and a chair. In Week 11, the Saints have only to outplay Seattle, Detroit, Minnesota, and Dallas to keep playing into January. Drew Brees and the Saints offense will always get you points, that’s a given. Now the Whodat defense is starting to come around a bit and it couldn’t have happened at a better time. In the NFL, you are never as good as you are when you win and never as bad as you are when you get crushed. Based on that dynamic and with the Raiders at home, first inclinations have some thing home dog here ….. and why not ??? Last week, the Saints knocked the Falcons from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 31-27 with at the Super Dome while the Raidas were getting mauled 55-20 at Baltimore. The Saints may not drop double-nickles on the black and solver like the Ravens but SP21 does but New Orleans on 35+ and the homestanding Raiders who are unable to run the ball without McFadden just will not be able to keep pace and trade points. The newly found Saint pass rush will pin its ears back and harass Carson Palmer all afternoon, creating turnovers and giving Brees short fields to work with. Wouldn’t be surprised to see New Orleans get out fast early and extend late for an easy double-digit victory. Oakland will get some but not enough.
