Bet-On-the-NFL’s Mixed Grill Four Pack of Free Plays: Monday, January 30, 2012
Jan 30th, 2012 by dmack
BOTN just received the entire book of props from the Hilton Super Book and is starting to work on those. Throughout the week we’ll be putting out Super Bowl props mixed in along with the free plays as we start the countdown to Giants vs Patriots. Free plays went 2-2 on Sunday splitting in the college and NBA. Lookong to get back on track tonight and start the week with a bang.
(NBA) Chicago at Washington Under 191
This is the Bulls 3rd game in four nights, the Wiz’ 6th game in nine nights. Chicago played a tough phsysical national TV game vs the Heat yesterday afternoon so both teams are pretty used up. That said, don’t see the Bulls getting caught up in a run and gun duel with the Wiz but rather a grind it out game of deliberate half court possessions. No real teches, trends, or indicators that point to this total either way but we can look to the prior meeting in November, a 78-64 Chitown win. Figure on more than 142 here but nowhere close to tonight’s 191. Play the Under.

(NBA) New Orleans at Miami under 186.5
Plain and simple the Hornets just have no players. They’re 2-16 in their L18 and saw their five game cover run end last night in a 22-point home loss to the Hawks. In those 18 games, they’ve scord more than 100 one time and more than 94 points just three times. The under is 12-6 during the run and New Orleans is 7-2 low vs winning records. The Heat are a 50-50 high/low proposition in every spot but they are 4-2 under in the second of back-to-back nights and don’t figure to need to expend much energy to get outa Dodge with a win here. Thinking we’ll see the same 92-74 result for the Hornets as last night vs the Hawks. Play the under.

(CBB) Missouri -1 over Texas
Texas needs this game a whole lot more than Mizzou but you don’t always get what you want. The Tigers dispatched the Longhorns pretty routinely by 11 in Columbia and that was despite 24 from UT’s J’Covan Brown. Missouri is a veteran bunch that has struggled some on the road (losses at Oklahoma State and Kansas State) and have lost three of their last four visits to Austin. That said, they face a VERY young team that has lost four of five, three by four or less. Thinking that’s what happens again here as the more experienced Tigers know how to close people out. Take Missouri.

(CBB) Wofford -9 over West Carolina
The Terriers have won five straight covering four and are in real revenge mode here having lost to the Catamounts on January 7th. In fact, that was Western’s last win over a Division I team (beat something named Taccoa Falls 141-39) and have lost five straight roadies, four by 12+ points. Wofford is a perfect 6-0 against the points on their home floor and they’ll be playing a tomato can while riding a nice run and with a real chip on their shoulder. The last five in the series on this court and have gone this looks to be a crush from start to finish in a higher scoring game. Take Wofford.
