The latest Super Bowl XLVI fallout
Ex-Patriot hard guy and current NBC TV talking head Rodney Harrison has called out Rob Gronkowski for his dancing at the Patriots after Super Bowl party.
“I guarantee you this, if Willie McGinest, Tedy Bruschi, Larry Izzo, Richard Seymour or myself had been at that party, Gronkowski probably would have got his head rung,” Harrison told ESPN 1000 in Chicago (via PFT). “There’s no reason for that to happen.”
“When we lost the Super Bowl, any of my Super Bowl losses, I was so devastated the last thing I ever wanted to do was party, let alone dance or take off your shirt,” Harrison said. “It’s just immaturity. It’s not right. He made a mistake and I’m sure he feels absolutely stupid about it at this point. There’s a time and place for everything.”
Here we go in case you missed it. BOTN wants to know … is this a big deal ???
In other NFL news, the injury to Tom Brady’s left shoulder is not considered serious. Brady hurt the shoulder when he was sacked by Justin Tuck. Brady was 20-24 for 201 yards and a touchdown before the sack, 7-17 for 75 yards and a pick after the sack.
BOTN had a miserbale day on the hardwood going 0-3 with free plays in the hoops but avoided the collar with a winner on the Anaheim Ducks. Looking for some payback tonight with a perfect 4-0 covering three sports. (CBB) San Francisco -12 over Santa Clara
We’ve been tailing the Dons who have covered eight of their last nine and have already pounded the Broncos 90-77 at Santa Clara. USF has won and covered four of five in the series and despite playing n a conference with Gonzaga and St Marys has fared well ATS going 27-14 over the past three years, 7-4 this year. Santa Clara has struggled losing 11 straight and has not been all that competitive the way we keep score going just 2-9 against the number. Expect San Francisco to look sharp tonight and against San Diego before going through the BYU, St Marys, Gonzaga gauntlet. Lay it.

(CBB) Montana -6.5 over North Colorado
Montana has won six straight and 12 of 13, the Grizz are also 10-2 SU and ATS in Big Sky play. They also already waxed the Bears by 18 points when the played in Missoula. Northern Colorado is 1-5 SU and 1-4-1 ATS in their L6 with four of the losses coming by double-digits. Further, the Bears are just 2-6 vs the points at the Butlar-Hancock Pavillion and struggle against defensive minded teams like the Grizzlies. Montana has been a good bully and on a current 6-0 run vs sub .500s and rate solid call as road fave here.

(NBA) Houston at Phoenix under 200.5
This isn’t the Phoenix team we’ve come to know and sometimes love over the last decade. The 124-116 games are a thing of the past the current 11-14 SU and ATS less talented Suns are getting by with smoke and mirrors, good shooting nights, and some defense. The Suns are 8-4 low in their L12, 17-8 under in all games, 7-2 under against the Southwest, and 9-3 low vs winning records. The Rockets are on a 6-2 under run themselves and have hit the century mark just twice in their L9. The last two games in the series ended 95-93 and 99-81, nowhere near the 200 we have here. Play the under.

(NHL) Winnipeg at Washington Under 5
Using the Jets under has been almost automatic since the firts of the year. Winnipeg is on a 7-game run under the total and the low is 8-2 in the Jets L10 road games. We won’t have the benefit of the hook against the defensive minded Caps but we won’t be laying 25-45 cents either. The Caps are on three straight unders themselves and are 6-2 to the low in their L8 vs losing records. Two the three meetings this year have gone under the total including a Cap 1-0 win at Winnipeg in the last. Play the under.
