Bet-On-the-NFL’s Four Pack of Free Plays: Wednesday, January 11, 2012
Jan 11th, 2012 by dmack
The NFL Playoff Divisional Round is just 72 hours away and there is lots going in football in the mean time. Reggie McKenzie didn’t take long to make a move in his first day as the new Raider GM firing head coach Hugh Jackson. Oakland finished 8-8 and was eliminated from the playoffs in the final week of the season with a home loss to San Diego. Jackson was well liked by the players but evidently didn’t figure in the new regime’s plans.
In other news, ex-Falcon OC Mike Mularky was hired as the third head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brian Schottenheimer is out and ex-Dolphin HC Tony Sparano in as the new OC of the Jets as Gang Green’s post-season of discontent continues. Eagle director of player personnel was hired as the new GM of the Indianapolis Colts. Heisman winner Robert Griffin III will enter the NFL draft. BOTN will do a complete recap after the smoke has cleared.
BOTN’s Tuesday mixed grill of free picks went a solid 3-1. Tonight, it’s all college and pro hoops as we hope to keep things going. Don’t forget to check out our sponsors for big bonuses’, fast payouts, and great customer service. Keep it right here at Bet-On-the-NFL.
Sacramento at Toronto Over 190.5
The Kings are playing their third game in four nights, the Raptors play for the third night in a row and for the sixth time in eight nights. Neither team is going to have much in the way of legs and both should be able to find ways to score. The Kings give up better than 103 ppg allowing opponents to score on 48.9% of their shots from the field. The over is 4-1 in Sactos five games vs the East. The Barneys are on a 6-3 over run and have given up 100+ points in eight of their L9 games. Three of the last four in the series have gone over the total including the last two here. This one has all the makings of a scorefest. Play the over.

Chicago -14 over Washington
The is the Wizards fourth game in six nights, the Bulls third in a row and seventh in nine nights. Chitown is 8-1 in their L9 and an amazing 7-2 ATS which gives you a good idea of their quality depth. The Wiz got their all illusive first win last night and might just be fat and happy here. Washington is getting outscored by ten points per and are avgg just 85.8 ppg meaning they can’t trade points with the hosts. The Wiz are just 1-6 as a dog and 11-26 ATS vs the Central, and just 4-14 ATS off a double-digit win. The Bulls are 4-1 against the points even having to lay inflated big prices. Bulls 106-83.
It’s Game on at Top Bet
Dallas +5.5 over the Boston Celtics
This is the Mavericks seventh game in 11 nights while the Celtics have had a rare four-day respite not having played since Friday. The Celtics are the oldest team in the NBA and the best spots to fade them with be in back-to-back nights and these five games in seven night spots. That said, hard to pass on the Mavs and their 62-36 ATS road record over three years. The Mavs are also 18-10 as road dogs of 3-6 points and have won and covered their last two visits here. Boston has hit the century mark just once in six games and that was exactly 100 against the matador defense of the Wizards. In a game that might not get into the 90′s, I want the Mavs are nobody at all. Take the points.

Lakers -2 over Utah
This is the Lakers fifth game in seven nights, the Jazz play their fourth in six nights so the fatigue factor is pretty much a push. Last night, Kobe went off for 48 in the Lakesow win over Phoenix. LA has only lost once with Bynum back in the lineup and that was at Portland where they ALWAYS get beat. The Jazz have won five straight covering for and are 5-0 at Energy Solutions Arena but … the Jazz are 0-2 vs winning records and don’t have the front court to deal with the Bynum/Gasol and a Kobe apparently on a mission. Lakers 90-82.
